Boxer Rebelion

Throughout the late ninetieth century around 1900, by and by many years of surrendering to the superior internal and external troops forces of the West, the Chinese stood up for their country. China was a weak, backwards, country, subjugated by the West. They felt that they could counter the foreign domination, but reforms were useless because they demand the West to help with the reforms. But something sparked their confidence, and they believed themselves to be able to get over any foreign power. This spark was the Society of Harmonious Fists, commonly known as Boxers. Boxers were against foreign influence in areas such as trade, politics, religion and technology. Combined with unhappy people, and untried weapons technology, the Chinese rebelled against the foreign powers. The Boxer Rebellion began in November 1899, in the Shandong Province in China and ended on kinsfolk 7, 1901, with the signing of the Boxer Protocol. The Chinese leadership made observe decisions which led to the end of the Qing Dynasty and the establishment of the modern Chinese Republic.
On one side of the rebellion were the Boxers this was originally a secret base that dated back before 1700 and whose arising are masked in myths and legends. In 1747 a group of Jesuits were barred from China due to Boxer influence.



A order of bad harvests, plagues, and harsh sanctions imposed by the Western powers and japan had caused a great deal of bad emotions. There was a rising fear that the Chinese would be reduced to servants of the Hesperian powers. The Boxers started preaching anti western beliefs after culmination into this environment. The Boxers saw that all Western things as dark and practiced traditional martial arts and used Chinese weapons like the curved halberds and spears. Most Boxers especially those life sentence in Northern China were poor and desperate; they goddamned the forgeries and their Christian faith. One Boxer wrote in a verse:
