World War I

World War I, also known as the nifty War, was an awful condition war which took straddle primarily in Europe during the years of 1914 and 1918. It was a devastating war that was through in order to gain money and land. Combatants, bond papers, Science, technology and weapons are important pieces that developed with the Great War. Countries such as Astro-Hungary, Serbia, Russia, France, Brazil, Mexico and Germany con part of this four year war.

The World War I began with the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The Archduke, which would soon inherit the Astro-Hungarian Empire, was shoot by a Serbian. Thats why, Astro-Hungarians decided to revenge by attacking Serbia.

Since mid-19th, the completelyiance system developed. Astro-Hungary was henchman with Germany. Though, Serbia was ally with Russia, which was ally with France and Great Britain. So, when an ally country declared war, the others countries in the alliance system had no option but to fight.

When the Ferdinands assassination occurred, the Serbians -supported by the Russians- mobilized for war. This caused the adjacent mobilization of France and Great Britain. Germany, the Astro-Hungarians alliance, also went to war; this instrument that the country had to confront the two countries that border it.



After this, a very bloody war spread through all Europe.

Besides, some other causes were the militarism and the nationalism that the countries suffer during those times. The militarism was reflected by competing for the place of best mastery of the sea between Great Britain and Germany. Germans showed a battle ship planned for attacking France through Belgium if Russian attacked Germany. On the other hand, British exhibited an effective battleship called dreadnaught.
