Human Trafficking

Human Trafficking as defined on Wikipedia is the illegal duty of human beings mainly for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation or forced labor. Nothing propels the passion and rouses the emotion, especially in the unite States, to a greater extent than the awful stories of human slavery today. I, as an individual, consent personal reasons to advocate for harsher legislation locally, in Kentucky, when it comes to human trafficking. Whether sexual, domestic, or labor, the terror and horror that human trafficking victims have faced is more than our minds can fathom.  Most people who work in confederacy service type positions have heard and/or witnessed these tragedies eldest hand. I have experienced the passion and dedication of the usual servants who are involved in the apprehending, and prosecution of offenders, and advocate for victims in these very difficult cases. To not only think exactly to realize that that this is occurring in our backyard, hidden from us as we go through life on a daily basis, is unimaginable. 

In August 2002, my husband and I were fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to adopt a newinnate(p) that was born in Somerset, Kentucky, just 60 miles from our home. Attorneys were hired and paperwork was completed, and on August, 19th, 2002, we joy skillfuly brought our only child home from the hospital.



We were granted temporary shackles until the final paperwork could be completed. The biological parents not so aflutter to relinquish full custody very quickly, and yes, the biological parents were a white married couple with 4 other children, scarcely only retained custody of two. They were very open with us about their finances and that they just couldnt afford either children and they were tired of taking care of kids.
