Two furcatees ago we had to either come up with a hypothesis and an observational design regarding students behavior in a lyceum class or create a survey. I chose to do the audition which was really measured by realistic observation.
The day of the research I had a complete observational design that looked like this:
Purpose: The purpose of this experiment is to cypher if on that point be more male or effeminate students example than just sitting around in the gym.
opening: I predict that male will be exercising the most
Procedure:
1. go to the gym
2. observe the class that is in this period
3. take nones of the differences and similarities
4. compare the numbers
That was the start of a good experiment but look at the conclusion now :
finding: My hypothesis didnt work at all , it wasnt even utilize when I was in the gym observing the students. It was a class of 31 students ; 21 females and 10 males. For the first 5 proceedings that I was in the gym I had to wait because there was no one there to observe. This was a waste of epoch especially because we were only given 20 legal proceeding for this experiment. The total class had been outside for that time period.
As the class proceeded the gym teacher asked one of my classmate what were we doing, this changed our naturalistic observation to a simple observation since one cant interact with the subjects that we are observing in order to have valid data. some other thing that went wrong was the fact that all the students present in this gym class were obligated to participate, they were getting ready for their sensual fitness test. There was nothing natural of this observation because they were not doing something that was natural but obligated. Time was limited when the 20 minutes were over and I really didnt get much from the experimental design that I created.
