I will graduate in world-wide Sciences and Diplomacy in July 2012, and I wish to apply to the disseminated sclerosis merchandising and International Management at the University of Reading, because I would resembling to develop and practice on the whole the skills that I have acquired all over the past few years. During my studies, I readyed as a volunteer for the Unicef organization in Italy, and I had the opportunity to develop social, organisational and managing skills.
For instance, we started a project in two elementary schools in my region, in order to teach children about the goals of Unicef and to have them opinion about their rights and duties, promoting different cultures too. Continuing with the United Nations, I took disassociate in a Model of UN in Barcelona where I learnt how to work in a multicultural group. I also participated in two professor-led trips in order to project and study international and economic relations, between atomic number 63 and the United States and between Europe and Asia. In another project I worked as a mediator in Israel, between Jewish and Arabic students, where I learnt the importance of a good dialogue between cultures. I spent the current academic year abroad, in France, where I lived with students from all around the world, learning to become a worldwide citizen, and improving my knowledge of French.
Considering all my experiences, I became very elicit in the world of international trades and international business. I am now writing my thesis, and the subject is Internationalization strategies: the Indesit case in Russia. I am analysing an Italian case in the Russian market, starting from a general background of the international strategies elect by the Italian industry. I am also exploring the relate between the Italian and the Russian markets, in order to discover what are the opportunities for my country to develop in the Asian market.
