There are different operational trunks that are employ at the offices and plants in all quaternion (4) states where Huffman trucking is located. Most of the operating systems are different versions of Microsoft windowpanes, only they are in like manner employ Mac systems in two (2) states.
Huffman trucking uses Windows 95 on 20 workstations in forward-looking jersey and three (3) workstations in California. They use Windows 2000 sea captain on 30 workstations both in minute and Ohio. They use Windows XP Professional on 10 workstations in Missouri and 20 in Ohio. They also use Window 3.x in New Jersey and California. They also have seven (7) Mac computers in the Ohio and Missouri offices.
Every one of these systems was chosen for certain reasons. Huffman trucking uses Window 3.x for their receptionist in both New Jersey and California. This system is older, dating back to the 1990s. This system is probably still creation used because it is mostly used for appointments, employee office phone numbers, office hours, and addresses to all of the Huffman buildings. These systems can handle the small tasks that the receptionists are ask to do. Basically, Windows 3.x is being used for simple communication tasks.
They are using Windows 95 on the machines in New Jersey and in California that do all of the faxing, printing, and scanning. This operating system is also an older system, but it works well with the existing MS-DOS, 16-bit applications, and pull drivers. There would be no reason to upgrade since this system works well for what they use it for. Windows 95 is used and controls the operations of the printers, scanners, and the fax machines in two of the offices. Windows 3.x and Windows 95 are being used in the same offices.
