Part II My whole life I have neer been to Carnegie Hall, Ive only heard of it a couple of times, yet I never actually knew what it was other than a buttocks where practice of medicine was performed. Every day when I would walk to school, I would see Carnegie Hall and always desireed to go in to see what kind of music was performed there. Then the day came when I signed up for Music 101, I honestly thought that I was way out to learn about modern music and how it was made, but little did I know that I was in for a rude awakening. Throughout the semester we learned about distinguishable types of music genres and styles. When I received the paper describing what I was discharge to be doing I was lovely stunned. I had never been to a concert and the paper required that we attend a unspotted music concert. This has little to do with the opera, but I simply wanted to give you a little insight on my history with concerts. The days went by and opportunities to attend concerts were let go by my little determination in the class. I quick got myself together and decided to attend the Orchestra of St. Lukes. I did my research and saw that it was an opera in Spanish. Being Latino, I taught it would be a great experience to witness such performance.

When I got on the train and made my way to Carnegie Hall all I could think about is how the performance was going to be. I was pretty excited and anxious to see how it would turn out. When I first base arrived my heart started pounding for some reason, I guess I was scared. As I made my way inside and gave my rag to the usher, I looked around the gorgeous hall. I realized that I was pretty much the minority in the audience, which I didnt mind because I had an advantage knowing Spanish. I was in any case pretty surprised at the fact that I had really good seats. I thought I was going to be all the way up top and I was going to need binoculars to see the Orchestra.
