Due to different personalities, misunderstandings, misperceptions, different situations, it is bound to happen. more or less after part anticipate it, where differents dont expect it at all. DEFINING CONFLICT In defining conflict, I found that these 3 statements (in my opinion) best describe it: 1.Conflict, an enduring feature of the workplace, is a unconscious process in which one party perceives that its interests are being debate or negatively affected by another party. CAUSE OF CONFLICT The cause of the conflict, with regards to the scenario, will definitely be that of a communication failure. People misperceive and they misunderstand. Not once in this particular scenario did either party make contact/ pass on with each other, but merely assumed. These assumptions ultimately led to the study conflict, which could have been prevented if the management team and Hewlett simply communicated with each other and made some arrangements.
