An essay about English language teaching


Students who join international schools or who want to go and study abroad usually have challenges in meeting the English standards of those respective schools and places. Therefore extra time must be taken to study English grammar and pronunciation. To these students, an essay about English language teaching is usually beneficial and they are always on the look for such essays which helps them know the relevant areas which they must improve in order to be at par with the rest of the students whose grammar and pronunciation is acceptable. Teachers and facilitators who are fresh from college and are in dire need of practicing what they have learned in college usually dust their shelves to locate books and essays elaborate on how to effectively teach English language.
It is quite explanatory that an essay that talks about teaching of English language must be lengthy enough and will tend to deviate from the normal aspects that are usually regarded ordinary for any English essay. This is because the nature of the topic and the amount of content that must be covered in order to ensure that the paper is satisfactory and elaborates the contents clearly. Writing an essay about English language teaching can be tedious and involving since proper research has to be conducted on the essentials of English language, the phonetics of the language as well as the diphthongs that are applicable during pronunciation. Doing such essay will heavily rely on written materials from countries which receive high influx of immigrants such as Australia and the United States of America. In these countries there exist various pilot studies that have been conducted to show success of various strategies that have been implemented to ensure students acquire knowledge in writing and speaking English.
 The format of this essay can take the style of proposal writing since it’s a practical activity that must be highly researched on and if possible experiments be conducted to quantify English teaching methodology that has greatest effect. This means that this paper must have title page, a brief introduction that states the purpose of the paper, the major English teaching styles, their shortfalls and the best alternative among them. Then literature review must be conducted to show credibility of the method chosen while at the same time experiments must be done in the field to justify that in deed the chosen method of teaching English is effective and efficient. Conclusions are then drawn from the experiments and the literary materials that were read while at the same time recommendations are being made.
The nature of this type of essay cannot fall anywhere since its not a persuasive essay, narrative essay or even schools and college admission essays but an amalgamation of any of the above.
